..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner for her lands measuring 11893 sq.ft.in S.No.1770/1A 1B in Block 46, Ward 5, Tirupapuliyur, Cuddalore acquired by the respondents for constructing the railway over bridge pursuant to the petitioner's legal notice dt.30.07.2004.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner for her lands measuring 11893 sq.ft.in S.No.1770/1A 1B in Block 46, Ward 5, Tirupapuliyur, Cuddalore acquired by the respondents for constructing the railway over bridge pursuant to the petitioner's legal notice dated 30.07.2004. 2.Mr.B.Sathiyan, Tahsildar, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District is present along with the files and assisted the learned Government Advocate.
3.The learned Government Advocate produced the statement made by the writ petitioner before the Personal Assistant(Legal matters) to Collector, Cuddalore. The writ petitioner has stated that she has received the entire compensation amount as per the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
award passed in the Land Acquisition proceedings. The Land Acquisition proceedings were concluded long back and the writ petition was also filed, directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the writ petitioner in respect of her lands acquired by the State.
4.In view of the fact that the writ petitioner has accepted the compensation amount and received the same in the presence of the authorities, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. 5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
