Kalluthu Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District is deemed to have been granted for a further period of 20 years from the date of commencement of renewal of mining under Rule 24 A(6) of the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 3 to execute the lease agreement and work order in favour of the petitioner for mining Quartz and Feldspar in the above mentioned area. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The matter had been called at the joint request, in view of the decision made today in W.A.No.1491 of 2015. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writ petition has become infructuous in view of the subsequent events.
