ORDER

Mr. T.M. Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2. Mr. C.C.C. Rangarajan, learned counsel, accepts notice for the third respondent. With consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. This writ petition has been preferred seeking a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the recommendation sent by the third respondent in his letter in Na.Ka. No.69/2017 dated 23.03.2017 regarding the promotion of the petitioner to the post of Record Clerk in Srimushnam Town Panchayat.

Since recommendation has already been made by the third respondent to the second respondent qua the petitioner's promotion to the post of Record Clerk and the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2017 in this regard is also under consideration before the second respondent, considering the limited scope of the relief sought by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2017 in the light of the recommendation dated 23.03.2017 made by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. Costs made easy.
