ORDER
The impugned suspension order passed by the respondent in proceedings in Sa.Mu. Na.Ka. No.481/ 2024/ A-4/CV dated 30.09.2024, is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition. Further, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent to reinstate him in to service along with back wages in the respondent corporation in the same shop as in the same position, within the time as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was placed under suspension due to unauthorized absence by the respondent vide proceedings dated 30.09.2024 and on 10.10.2024, he was issued with a charge memo, for which he had sent his explanations dated 10.10.2024 & 14.11.2024 and made a request to cancel his suspension and reinstate him in service. He further submitted that the petitioner once again submitted his representation dated 05.01.2026 requesting for revocation of his suspension and reinstatement with all attendant benefits and to provide subsistence allowance for the suspension period, however, there was no response from the respondent and hence, the present Petition.
4. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed this Court to issue a direction to the respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings of the petitioner in a reasonable time and to pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner for his suspension period.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner was placed under suspension on 30.09.2024 and till date, the disciplinary proceedings are pending without any progress, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and also to pay the subsistence allowance applicable to the petitioner for his suspension period, if there is no impediment in disbursing the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
