Prayer:Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act to punish the Respondent for willfully disobeying the order of this Hon'ble Court passed on 16.03.2018 in Crl.OP.No.8031 of 2018 and direct the respondent to ensure compliance of the said order. O R D E R

The respondent has filed a counter affidavit in this case. In the counter affidavit, paragraph No.3 is extracted hereunder: ''3. I respectfully submit that the Order of this Hon'ble

Court dated 16/03/2018 in Crl.O.P. No. 8031 of 2018 is duly complied with by the then Station House Officer of Odiansalai Police station. As per the order of this Hon'ble Court, the copy of the complaint dated 05.02.2018, was received on 17.03.2018 from the petitioner Razendhiran Maleappan and enquired. After detailed enquiry, it turned out that claims on both sides were civil in nature and did not make out any criminal offence. Hence during enquiry, both the petitioner Razendhiran Maleappan and counter petitioner Pratab were advised to maintain status quo and seek remedy through court of law since civil in nature. The disposal of the petition was entered in the Station General Diary by the then SHO/Inspector of Police, Odiansalai PS, Puducherry vide G.D Vol. No.15, Page No. 18 and serial No. 79, dt. 17.03.2018.''

2. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this contempt petition. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is always left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
