ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner for her respective occupation in S.No.251 Pillanthipattu Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District to the extent of 0.23 Acres based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2008, 30.06.2021 and the reply of the respondents dated 18.08.2020(1st respondent), 16.12.2020 (2nd respondent), 06.10.2015 & 27.10.2015 (3rd respondent).

2. Mr. Mr.G.Nanmaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. In view of the limited relief sought for in this petition and on the consent expressed by the Learned counsel appearing on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

The case of the petitioners is that the petitioner owns a property under natham patta from her husband's forefather who occupied 0.23 cents land in S.No.251 of Pillanthipattu Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk(earlier Katpadi Taluk), Vellore District. Originally they removed rocks and thorny bushes and made it into agricultural use, and the land is situated in an unobjectionable place. She made a representations on 26.12.2008 and 30.06.2021 before the respondents to issue a patta in her name. However, till date no action has been taken by the respondents on the application made by the petitioner. Hence the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner with the above relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court directs the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner for her respective occupation in S.No.251, Pillanthipattu Village, K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District to the extent of 0.23 Acres based upon the representations of the petitioner dated 26.12.2008 & 30.06.2021.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representations dated 26.12.2008 & 30.06.2021 will be considered by the Respondents within the time frame fixed by this Court.

6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the fourth respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 26.12.2008 and 30.06.2021, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
