2. The petitioner is the husband and respondent is the wife. The petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2015 for dissolution of their marriage solemnized on 01.05.2005 on the ground of cruelty. The respondent filed counter on 06.10.2016. The trial commenced, P.W.1 was examined and his evidence was closed on 16.02.2017. Subsequently, H.M.O.P was posted for respondent's side evidence. The respondent filed proof affidavit and she was also examined on 11.04.2017. Now the H.M.O.P is posted for further evidence of respondent on 25.04.2017. In this circumstance, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition for early disposal of H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2015.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition and since the H.M.O.P. is pending from
2015, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Tambaram to dispose H.M.O.P.No.131 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 31st August 2017.
