Common Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorari to call for the records of the 3rd respondent dated 30.08.2004 in C.No.IV/16/88/2004 S.Tax (Pt. File) quash the same as it is without jurisdiction, illegal and outside the scope of levy of service tax.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner challenged the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 30.08.2004 in C.No.IV/16/88/2004 S.Tax (Pt. File) and the respondents have filed counter affidavit stating that by the letter dated 17.11.2004 they withdrew all the three impugned list. In view of the same, nothing survives in the Writ Petitions.
