C O M M O N J U D G M E N T Since the issues involved in all these Writ Appeals are one and the same, they are taken up together and considered by this common judgment.
2. These Writ Appeals have been preferred by the Appellant to set aside the common order dated 11.01.2023 passed by this Court in W.A.Nos.304, 307 and 311 of 2023, in dismissing the Writ Petitions filed by the Appellant.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents/Workmen submitted that the Workmen are ready and willing to accept a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) each in full quit, towards compensation and the Separate Memos of the Workmen dated 31.03.2023 have also been filed to that effect.
4. The Workmen are also present before this Court and agreed that they are willing to accept the aforesaid sum in full quit towards their full and final settlement.
5. Recording the aforesaid Memos dated 31.03.2023, we direct the 3/4
S. VAIDYANATHAN,J., and R.KALAIMATHI .,J arr Appellant/Employer to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) each to the Respondents/Workmen, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the Appellant shall pay interest @ 12% per annum. We make it very clear that this judgment passed in these Writ Appeals based on the Memos filed by the Workmen cannot be treated as a precedent for other Appeals.
