ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2.This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and promote the petitioner to the post of Block Health Supervisor pursuant to inclusion of the name of the petitioner in the approved promotion panel issued by the second respondent dated 08.10.2025.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is due for promotion to the post of Block Health Supervisor. The punishment suffered by him has already come to an end. His name was included in the panel for promotion, however, he was not promoted, while his juniors were promoted. In this regard, the petitioner submitted the representations on 17.11.2025 and 25.11.2025 requesting the respondents to consider his case, and he also preferred an appeal on 15.12.2025. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 17.11.2025 and 25.11.2025, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations

dated 17.11.2025 and 25.11.2025, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stand disposed of. No costs.
