Ms. No.130 dated 31.03.2009 of Finance (Local Fund) Department and give consequential retirement benefits.

The writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.pa & NiII (5) 26641/2009-2 dated 18.08.2009 and seeking a direction to the respondent to give promotion to the petitioner to the post of Assistant Inspector with effect from 31.03.2009 forenoon based on G.O. Ms. No.130 dated 31.03.2009 of Finance (Local Fund) Department and give consequential retirement benefits.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Though the writ petition is of the year 2009 and the same is pending for quite ten long years, the petitioner has not chosen to appear to argue the matter today, which shows that the petitioner is not interested https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in prosecuting the case. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed and the same is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
