For Respondents : Mr.Kumaresan, AAG for Mrs.Sowmidathan in all W.Ps COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking for Writ of Declaration to declare the petitioners are eligible to be selected for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police under the Direct Recruitment Examination 2010 pursuant to the advertisement dated 01.04.2010.
2. It is pertinent to note that during the pendency of the Writ Petitions, processing of selection including the written examination, oral test and physical examination have all been concluded by the respondent and at this length of time, it would be futile in granting the prayer as sought for by these petitioners.
3. Considering the above, I am of the view that it would be a futile exercise in further adjudicating the lis. In view of the same, no further orders are required to be made in these Writ Petitions and the same are accordingly closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
