O R D E R

The order under challenge in the present Writ Petition is to quash the impugned order passed by the respondent in Letter No.81566/Tr-II/03-1 dated 10.12.2003, whereby the petitioner's request to consider his name for promotion, came to be rejected on the ground that the petitioner had not completed his tenure in norm posts so far. The present consequential prayer in the Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondent to promote him as Deputy Transport Officer by relaxing the rules and also to grant him the consequential service monetary benefits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.It is seen that the petitioner has now reached the age of superannuation and at this point of time, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
