Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents not to hold or conduct any enquiry against the petitioner in respect of her election as Councilor from Ward No.27 of the Chengalpattu Municipality without following or compliance of the provisions, Section 51 of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920 or any other relevant provisions.

ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents not to hold or conduct any enquiry against the petitioner in respect of her election as Councilor from Ward No.27 of the Chengalpattu Municipality, without following the relevant provisions of law.
2.Heard both sides and perused the records.
3.This Court is of the view that the relief sought for herein does not survive at this distant point of time. Further, no batta was filed till date. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
