The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2022 to cancel the order passed by the 2nd 1/4
respondent for sub division of S.No.158/2 by conducting proper enquiry after sufficient opportunity to the petitioner.
2. The petitioner in order to cancel the patta issued in the name of third parties has given a representation on 28.12.2022 to the 2nd respondent and in order to consider the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard Mr.PA.Sudesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that, the said representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.12.2022 would be considered by the 2nd respondent and orders to that effect on merits would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, there shall be a direction to 2/4
the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of being heard to both the petitioner as well as the persons against whom such complaint has been given to cancel the patta shall be given and thereafter orders shall be passed by the 2nd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
