ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the investigation in Crime No.436 of 2025 pending on the file of the first respondent police to some other investigating agency such as the District Crime Branch or CBCID.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and that the opinion of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is awaited. He further submitted that the first respondent Police will be in a position to file the final report within a period of one month.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.436 of 2025 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
