ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted a representation on 29.11.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered by the respondent till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has not submitted any online application. Necessarily, the petitioner will have to Page No.2 of 6
submit an online application to enable the respondents to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the subject property.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit an online application.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the petitioner to submit an online application with the 4th respondent seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a consequential direction is issued to the respondents 3 and 4 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, after hearing the objections, if any, from neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application seeking survey and demarcation of boundaries.
7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the 4th respondent seeking to survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the Page No.3 of 6
prayer to this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application within the stipulated time, the respondents 3 and 4 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom they deem it fit to enquire, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
