ORDER

With consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

This writ petition has been preferred seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the

petitioner's representation dated 15.02.2017 for the academic year 2017-2018.

The petitioner-college, seeking to start B.Sc., B.Ed. and B.A., B.Ed. courses, applied online on 23.06.2015 and also submitted a hard copy of the same to the first respondent on 26.06.2015, pursuant to which, the first respondent issued a notice to the petitioner-college on the ground that the petitioner-college has not submitted No Objection Certificate from the affiliating university. In response, the petitionercollege addressed a representation to the first respondent on 02.11.2015 seeking time for furnishing No Objection Certificate from the second respondent University. After receipt of No Objection Certificate from the second respondent University, enclosing a copy of the same, the petitioner-college addressed a representation to the first respondent seeking to consider their application for the academic year 2017-2018.

Finding no response, the petitioner addressed another representation dated 17.02.2017 to the first respondent requesting processing of their application. Since no orders have been passed on the aforesaid representations, the instant writ petition has been preferred seeking the aforestated relief.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought by the petitioner-college, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner-college's representation dated 15.02.2017 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Costs made easy.
