ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation which is pending on the file of 3rd respondent police in Crime No.78 of 2018 to Crime Branch Crime Investigiation Department (CB CID) for investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the First Information Report, this Court is of the view that it is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to CBCID as prayed for by the petitioner. However, interest of justice, would be subserved, if the Assistant Commissioner of Police, under whose jurisdiction Veeranam Police Station falls, is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.78 of 2018 and expeditiously complete the same in accordance with law. This Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected Criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
