ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.12.2021 for the offence under Sections 420 and 471 of IPC, in Crime No.09 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused, on the false assurance of securing Government Job, cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.4 lakhs. Further, the accused have cheated 4 other victims to the tune of Rs.16,90,000/-. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner is in judicial custody from 14.12.2021 onwards. However, the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions imposed by this Court. Hence, he would pray for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would raise strong objections stating that as of now 8 victims have been cheated by the petitioner/A1.

5. The submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side are considered.

6. It is a case of job racketing. During the relevant point of time, the petitioner and others by promising that they would get job in different institutions, collected the amount of Rs.36 lakhs from 8 victims and afterwards, they did not arrange any job to the victims. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
