O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disbursement of arrears of 6th Pay Commission benefits admissible to the petitioner with 18% interest, belatedly, after eight years from his retirement.

When the matter is called, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous.

Learned Counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that long back, during the pendency of the writ petition, the authorization letter was issued to the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs.
