PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to pass an order of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to treat the members of the petitioner Union, whose names are furnished in the type set of

papers employed by the 3rd respondent through the 4th respondent in the canteen, as regular employees of the Port Trust, Chennai and pay them all attendant and monetary benefits from the date of their appointment in the 4th respondent on par with the regular employees of the 3rd respondent by declaring the members of the petitioner Union as the direct employees of the Chennai Port Trust.
