The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.A.No.2463 of 2021 dated 23.09.2021.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing it is represented by Mr.Silambananan, learned Additional Advocate General that the amount due to the petitioner has already been paid. This has been refuted by Mr.Venkataraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only) and odd has already been recovered and the balance alone need to be paid. The learned Additional Advocate General further submitted that without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to claim the balance amount and challenge the decision of the respondent, an order may be passed in the contempt.

3. Taking note of the submission of both the parties, giving liberty to the petitioner to question the order depriving him a portion of the monetary benefits, this Contempt Petition is closed.
