Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of a Writ of Prohibition, prohibiting the respondents from insisting the petitioner and petitioner's customers either to obtain transport permits to get mentioning of the final place of destination in the bills issued by the Public works department to transport the processed filtered sand from the stockyards of the petitioner measuring 1.30 Acres and 2 grounds comprised in R.S.No.270/3 and 270/4 situated at Thirumazhisai panchayat, Thiruvalluvar district and R.S.No.235/3 and 235/7 situated at Melmanampedu village, Poonamalli Taluk, Thiruvallurvar district to the place of the petitioner's purchasers destination.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to prohibit the respondents from insisting the petitioner and the petitioner's customers either to obtain transport permits to get mentioning of the final place of destination in the bills issued by the Public works department to transport the processed filtered sand from the stockyards of the petitioner measuring 1.30 Acres and 2 grounds comprised in R.S.No.270/3 and 270/4 situated at Thirumazhisai panchayat, Thiruvalluvar district and R.S.No.235/3 and 235/7 situated at Melmanampedu village, Poonamalli Taluk, Thiruvallurvar district to the place of the petitioner's purchasers destination.

2. By virtue of efflux of time, more specifically for about 14 years, the cause arises for filing of the present writ petition cannot be considered in view of various changes for grant of transport permits of sand. If at all the grievances of the writ petitioner exist, it is left open to the writ petitioner to approach the Competent Authorities for the redressal of his grievances.

3. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
