Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary steps to appoint an IAS Officer as the Registrar and another IAS Officer as the Controller of Examination besides a Full Time Finance Officer based on the petitioner's representations dated 12.12.2018 and 02.01.2019 without any further delay in the interest of the stake holders and the maintenance of the Minimum Standards of Higher Education by strictly following the relevant provisions of the Thiruvalluvar University Act, 2002.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Sathia Chandran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.C.Swamy, learned counsel for the respondents 1, 3 and 4 and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the

respondents 2 and 5.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction against the respondents 1 and 2 to appoint Registrar and Controller of Examinations besides a Full Time Finance Officer.

3. It is submitted that regular Registrar and Controller of Examinations are appointed after following the proper procedure.

4. In view of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
