Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 5 to make investigation and take appropriate action against the Vice Chancellor of the Indian Maritime University and to disaffiliate the maritime institutions who had collected excess fee so as to ensure that all IMU affiliated institutes to collect only the fee prescribed by IMU as per its Act and Statutes.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition as become infructuous and also made an endorsement to that effect.

In the light of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court finds that nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
