Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order forbearing the respondents from in any manner initiating the acquisition proceedings on the property of the petitioner lying in Survey No.12/2 of Sadayankuppam Village, now Thiruvotriyur Taluk, Greater Chennai Corporation vide plot No.12 in block No.4, in the scheme known as Manali phase-I Tamilnadu Housing Board neighbourhood scheme measuring an extent of 292 Sq.ft. or any other part thereof belonging to the petitioner herein.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition. An Endorsement to the said effect is also made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the Petition today.
2. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law, if the acquisition notification is issued. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
