O R D E R

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the impugned order was passed for payment of levy of stamp duty under Section 56(1) of the Indian Stamp Act,1899 by virtue of interim direction. Further submitted that the petitioner has paid the entire stamp duty and collected the original documents from appropriate respondent.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the counter affidavit has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the 1st respondent stating that the subject sale deed has been duly registered and released to the petitioner on payment of deficit stamp duty of Rs.1,81,62,000/- demanded by the 2nd respondent in No.19432/A1/2009 dated 13.05.2010.

In view of the aforesaid submission made on either side, it is evident that the entire stamp duty has been paid by the petitioner and the sale deed has also been released in favour of the petitioner. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this Writ petition is closed. No costs.
