Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2018 for resumption of service of All India Omni Bus No.TN-66B-3800 and extension of time for replacement of vehicle forthwith.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2018 for resumption of service of All India Omni Bus No.TN-66B-3800 and also for extension of time for replacement of vehicle.

2. According to the petitioner, he hold an All India Omni Bus permit in respect of vehicle No.TN-66B-3800 and the permit is valid upto 09.07.2020. The vehicle covered under the permit has developed a major repair. Hence, he stopped the operation of vehicle from 01.07.2018. Now he wants to replace the existing bus with the new bus. He has also purchased a new Chassis and the bus is under construction and it will take at least four months for completion of construction. In the said circumstances, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent seeking permission to operate the existing bus for one more year, so far his representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by the petitioner.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in this writ petition without going into the merit of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
