ORDER

Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 22.09.2021, which reads as follows:

'Pursuant to the non-bailable warrant issued by this Court, the Commissioner of Police, Egmore, Chennai secured the presence of the petitioner before this Court. The petitioner informed the Court that he is ready and willing to pay the entry tax and requested for a breathing time. Thus, two weeks time is granted from today to pay the entry tax in full and the petitioner is directed to report the same before this Court.

List the matter for passing final orders on 06.10.2021.'

2.Today, Mr.N.Balaji, learned counsel representing counsel on record for writ petitioner submits that the entry tax has since been paid in full vide RC 567/2021/83 dated 04.10.2021. Learned counsel submits that captioned writ petition can be closed as nothing further survives in the matter.

3.Recording the stated position of the writ petitioner, captioned writ petition is disposed of as closed. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
