..Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rationalize the monthly allocation of kerosene among the petitioner and other wholesalers. ORDER

Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to rationalize the monthly allocation of kerosene to the petitioner and other wholesalers.

3. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the licence granted in favour for the petitioner got expired on 31.12.2005. It is also submitted that the Power Agent of the petitioner, viz., M.Gopal passed away during the pendency of the Writ Petition and the whereabouts of the petitioner is not known.
