Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2018 with regard to promotion as Assistant on par with juniors in the light of the order in G.O. (2 Pa.) No.7, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa.a-4) Department, dated 30.1.2012 and G.O.(1Pa) No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa.a-4) Department dated 19.8.2015 passed by the first respondent and also in the light of the order passed by the District Collector, Karur in Na.Ka.Pa.Va4/2309 /2014 dated 13.4.2018.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that his juniors were already promoted and his request for grant of retrospective promotion on par with his junior is yet to be considered.
2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that in view of the administrative delay, the case of the writ petitioner had not been considered along with his juniors.
3. This being the factum, the first respondent is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioner on 26.7.2017, 3.5.2018 and 25.10.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copies of all the abovesaid representations and other relevant documents, if any, along with the order passed in this writ petition.
4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
