Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to ID.No.155 of 2002 on the file of the first respondent and quash the Award dated 06.07.2011 made in ID.No.155 of 2002.

ORDER
The Award passed by the Labour Court, Cuddalore, in I.D.No.155 of 2002 dated 06.07.2011, directing for reinstatement of the second respondent, is put under challenge in the present Writ Petition. In the said Award, the continuity of service and back wages was denied. The petitioner/Management is aggrieved only against the Award for reinstatement of the second respondent herein.
2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that the second respondent had already reached the age of superannuation and hence, the question of reinstatement will not arise.

3. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the prayer sought for in the present Writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
