Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider the representation dated 18.11.2024 of the petitioner as to cancel the patta issued in favour of 5th and 6th respondents and initiate disciplinary proceedings against the concerned departmental official for issuing patta to Government Porambake Land and take appropriate action.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, more particularly, the first respondent to consider the representation dated 18.11.2024, wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of patta issued in the name of the 2/4

respondents 5 and 6 since such patta has been issued for Government Poromboke land which was used as a pathway.

2. Heard Mr.Tharun Roshan .E, learned counsel on record for petitioner, Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R4 and Mr.M.R.Vinoth Prabhu, learned counsel for R5 and R6.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.11.2024 after affording an opportunity to the respondents 5 and 6 and orders shall be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
