O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] Petitioner seeks a direction to second respondent to secure the petitioner's minor daughter viz., I.Monisha, aged about 16 years, from the illegal custody of third respondent and produce her before this Court.

2. The minor daughter of petitioner having gone missing on earlier occasion, a case was registered in Crime No.34 of 2018 on 22.01.2018 for 'girl missing' and thereafter, she was secured https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and produced before the Fast Track Court, Vellore and custody was given to her mother on 01.02.2018. Thereafter, the girl was gone missing again. Therefore, the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 and 2. Recording the submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor that due investigation is in progress and all steps towards securing the girl is on pursuant to registration of case in Crime No.133 of 2018 on the file of second respondent in respect of the girl having gone missing, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed with a direction to respondent police to take out all efforts towards securing the girl at the earliest.
