ORDER

By an order dated 10.11.2016 passed in W.P.No.29583 of 2012, the respondents 2 and 3 were directed to inform the petitioner about the balance of sale consideration payable for the allotment of Plot No.R48J in Anna Nagar, Chennai. Since the direction was not complied with, the present contempt petition came to be filed.

2. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents produced a letter in No.9/6512/1990 dated 16.03.2018 issued by the second respondent herein, whereby the cost of the plot bearing No.R48J, Anna Nagar, Chennao allotted to the petitioner herein was fixed at Rs.6,09,609.40. In my view, this letter would amount to compliance of the earlier order dated 10.11.2016.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that he is willing to pay the said amount for the purpose of having the sale deed executed in his favour in respect of the subject plot. In view of the decision taken by the second respondent through his letter dated 16.03.2018, it is hereby observed that the concerned respondent shall execute the necessary sale deed for property bearing plot No.R48J, Anna Nagar, Chennai, in favour of the petitioner herein, after receiving the sale consideration, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
