Mr.K.Magesh, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner had filed this writ petition only directing the 1st respondent to consider the promotion. He further submitted that the petitioner made a representation to the 2nd respondent to promote him as a Dark Room Assistant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

However, the petitioner was subsequently promoted on 28.12.2004 itself and further he got promoted as Radiographer on 30.04.2010. Subsequently, he was retired from service on 30.04.2016, that is the reason why the petitioner is not interested to proceed with the writ petition. 3.

Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader and the petition is pending from the year 2004, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
