ORDER

These petitions have been filed to modify the condition imposed on Para 4 that the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- to the District Legal Servies Authority, Tiruvallur in Crl.O.P.No.31145 of 2024 dated 13.12.2024 and to extend the time granted by this Court to surrender and execute the bond.

2. This Court finds that only on the undertaking given by the petitioner that in order to show his bona fides, he was ready to deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/-, this Court has granted anticipatory bail. Now, after obtaining the anticipatory bail, the petitioner has come before this Court for modification of the said condition.

3. This Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner. However, time granted by this Court vide order dated 13.12.2024 to deposit the sum of Rs.20,000/-, is extended by a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to comply with the conditions therein. If the petitioner fails to surrender and comply with the conditions imposed, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall stand automatically cancelled.

4. Accordingly, Crl.M.P.No.2165 of 2025 stands dismissed. 12.02.2025 Anu To The Spl. Sub-inspector Of Police, Pennalurpet Police Station, Tiruvallur District.
