Ex.P.22 is the Town Survey Land Register. The evidence adduced on behalf of the
plaintiff is supported and corroborated by oral as well as documentary evidence. The defendants have not chosen to conduct trial and controvert the averments made in the plaintiff. On considering the evidence of P.W.1 (Plaintiff) and the documents produced, this court is of the view that the plaintiff has proved his title over the suit items. The suit items are vacant lands. It is the settled law that possession follows title. When the plaintiff has established his title, possession follows title. Therefore, this court is of the view that the plaintiff has established his claim against the defendants. Accordingly, the suit deserves to be decreed ex parte in its entirety with costs.
In the result, the civil suit is decreed as prayed for with costs. Consequently, connected OAs are closed.
