ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2022 to issue a computer patta of an extent of 600 sq.ft in Block No.2, T.S.No.2/30, Puliyur Village, Kodambakkam, Chennai. 1/4
2. In respect of the property at T.S.No.2/30 at Puliyur Village, Kodambakkam, Chennai, the petitioner already obtained patta from the concerned Authority of the Revenue Department and in order to get computerized patta, the petitioner had given an application on 19.10.2022 to the respondent and to consider the said application to pass orders for grant of computer patta, the petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Mr.M.Premkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law by the respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined 2/4
to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.10.2022 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
