ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed challenging the order, dated 09.03.2010, whereby, the petitioner's claim, to be absorbed in the respondents, was rejected. The claim of the petitioner is that originally, he was working on contract basis and when the respondents decided to absorb all the contract labourers and constituted a committee for examining the cases, at the relevant point of time, a criminal case was pending against the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner and as such, the committee did not forward the name of the petitioner for absorption and regular employment.
2. However, the learned Counsel for the respondents informs that subsequently, the petitioner was acquitted from the criminal case and thereafter, the petitioner's case was reviewed and the petitioner also gave an undertaking before the respondents that in the event of his case being considered positively, he will not press the claim in the present Writ Petition in W.P.No.14817 of 2010 and considering the same, an order has been passed on 22.06.2015 absorbing him into the service and a copy of the said order is produced before this Court. Therefore, it is seen that the relief which is prayed for by the petitioner has been granted by the respondents.
3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.2 of 2010 is closed.
