Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus or order or direction in the nature of writ, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent dated 26.08.2020 and pass such further or other orders as this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2020 requesting the second respondent, under the Right to Information Act, to provide birth records of the petitioner's father V. Subburayan.

2. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, has placed before this court a communication received by him from the third respondent dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

20.05.2022 stating that V.Subburayan's (petitioner's father) birth has not been registered in their office. The same is recorded.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty of this Court to approach the appropriate forum for getting the birth records of the petitioner's father Mr.V. Subburayan.

4. Recording the submissions made by the respective counsels, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for getting the birth records of the petitioner's late father Mr.V. Subburayan.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
