O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Thimmanamuthur Sri Mariamman Koil at Thirupathur, Vellore-635 653 on 08.02.2022 between 6 PM to 11 PM based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2022.

2. The petitioner asserts that there is no communal angle. The respondent is therefore directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the petition mentioned event. It is open to the respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions for ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organizers of the event will adhere to the police directives.

3. Recording the said undertaking, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
