ORDER

This petition is filed praying for a direction to the first respondent police to take in Crime No.2358 of 2015, dated 30.08.2015 investigation swiftly and file the investigation report before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate No.XVII, Saidapet, Chennai to try the offenders in accordance with law.

2.A complaint has been lodged by this petitioner as against one Ravisankar for the alleged offence punishable under Section 380 of IPC. Though the complaint has been registered in Crime No.2358 of 2015 as early as on 30.08.2015, till date the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as early as possible.
