Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the candidature of the fifth respondent for LPG Distributor with regard to Melpadi Village at Vellore District, in view of violation of clause 8A(j) and clause 8A(i) of "Unified guidelines for selection of LPG Distributors 2017-2018" issued by the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct fresh Lot as per the guidelines for selection of new LPG Distributor for the said Melpadi Village.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 09.01.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 11.01.2024 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., on 18.01.2024, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-
