This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 8/2/2022.
2. Heard Mr.N.A.Nasir Hussain, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. Mr.G.Mohmmed Aseef, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.
4. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
5. The petitioner is a newly elected Committee member, seeks a direction to the respondent to depute a Wakf official for electing new managing Committee, as per the bye law, scheduled on 4/12/2021. On 20/1/2022, General Body for election was convened and newly elected Committee was sought to be approved for a period from 20/1/2022 to 19/1/2025. Though the respondent acknowledged receipt of the same, no orders are forthcoming. Hence the petitioner has submitted a representation, Page No:2/4
dated 8/2/2022. Since the same has not been considered so far, petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.
6. Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner, at the earliest.
7. Submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the Wakf Board is recorded.
8. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 8/2/2022, and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
