[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging noncompliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.3535 of 2014 dated 06.02.2014, wherein this Court directed the respondents to sanction and pay incentive increments to the petitioner for possessing M.Phil qualification and confer all consequential benefits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submits that as against the order of this Court, which is in contempt, a Writ Appeal has been filed and in that, interim stay was granted.

Since a Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order, which is in contempt, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
