ORDER
The contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for the disobedience of the order dated 29.10.2021 passed in W.P.No.20724 of 2011.
2. This Court passed an order permitting the petitioner to submit application seeking compensation / ex gratia before the competent authority within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed in the writ petition and thereafter, the competent authority shall take a decision on merits based on the Government guidelines issued.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader made a submission that the Government issued guidelines and accordingly, the case of the petitioner was considered and the authorities found that she is not eligible for compensation based on the Government policy.
4. That being the factum, the petitioner has to approach the 2 / 4
competent forum for the purpose of establishing her case based on documents and evidences and in the manner known to law.
5. Thus, the respondents have not committed any contempt wilfully and subsequently, the contempt petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the sub application is also dismissed.
