ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to close the TASMAC wine Shop No.860 operating at Adams Market, Triplicane, located at No.19, Triplicane High Road, Padupakkam, Triplicane, Chennai.
2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 3 and 4 has submitted that considering various objections received from the public at large, a decision has been taken to close the aforesaid shop with effect from 07.03.2026, on temporary basis.
3. For the present, petition is rendered infructuous. Accordingly, petition is disposed of as having rendered infructuous.
