The Writ Petition challenges an order of dismissal from service which is dated 21.08.2009 and consequential direction for reinstatement of the petitioner.

2. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that he has written instructions to the effect that the petitioner has, in fact, been reinstated on 11.06.2010. A copy of the said written instruction is also placed on file. Thus the impugned order has no legs to stand as the petitioner has been reinstated even during the pendency of the writ petition.
